This session will discuss general financial aid information on how to apply, as well as, potential funding sources.

Workforce Transitions programs, like BFET and WorkFirst, provide financial support to help connect students with a path into a high-demand, high wage career. These programs can help support: Students planning to transfer to a university; Professional Technical certificates and degrees; Job skills training—specific skills needed to gain employment; Pre-college skills (diploma, GED, basic skills or ESL) to prepare for career training.

Start classes online from your home country while we wait for your chance to secure a visa and join us in the United States. Meet Juana Alcala, who will assist you with application process, requirements, and deadlines.

Learn more about the classes you will need to take to earn your Associate in Business or Associate in Science Track 2 – Computer Science/Engineering degree. In this session, you will hear from the international academic advisor and see a general degree plan that maps out the classes and sequencing that students will need to complete their Associate in Business or Associate in Science Track 2 at SPSCC. We will dive into transfer planning and take a look at how credits transfer to Washington State 4-year Universities. International students currently in their transfer planning process will also be available to share their experiences.
