Are you crazy about Italian food and itching to “take a stab” at making it? Have you always wanted to learn Italian and are looking for some exposure to the language? Have you taken Italian classes and would like an extra opportunity to practice the language? In these workshops, you will learn how to make some staples of the Italian cuisine, while brushing up your listening and speaking skills. Each workshop is taught in Italian and includes a language learning portion (including pronunciation!), focused on the language needed to follow the instructions and interact in class. At the end of each workshop, you will take with you a dish, ready to be cooked and enjoyed at home!
Knowledge of Italian is not a requirement, but you may enjoy these workshops even more if you already have some basic knowledge of Italian. The language portion is similar in all workshops: the language for class interaction tends to be the same, while the cooking instructions are different for each recipe. If you sign up for more than one workshop, in addition to learning new recipes, you will become more confident in listening and speaking.
