New Students: Activate Your ctcLink Account

If you’ve already followed the Steps to Activate (use only Desktop Computer to activate) your ctcLink account, your next step is to prepare to register for classes for your first quarter.

You will enroll for classes using ctcLink.

  1. Check your Enrollment Date.

  2. Search for classes and put them in your Shopping Cart.

  3. Enroll from your Shopping Cart on your Enrollment Date.

  4. Pay Tuition & Fees before due the date.

How do I activate my ctcLink account

Follow the steps in the Student Support Center to activate your ctcLink account and create a password. Write down and save your ctcLink ID. You’ll use it often to login to ctcLink. There is a way to find your ctcLink ID in case you lose it.  Steps to Activate  |  Video Steps to Activate

What do I need to do after I activate my account

After you activate your account, you can tour the Student Self Service Center.

Check that your personal information is correct, and explore the Class Schedule and how to register for classes. You'll use ctcLink to register for classes in the upcoming quarter.

Login to ctcLink with your new ID and password. Navigate to the Student Homepage and visit the “Profile” tile. Check that all of your personal information is up-to-date. What's the difference between my ctcLink ID and ClipperID

With ctcLink, you now have two student accounts: ctcLink and ClipperID.

Use ctcLink to view the class schedule, register, accept financial aid awards, pay tuition & fees, see your grades, and update your personal information.

Use your ClipperID to log into things like Canvas, Compass, and your SPSCC email and Office365.

With your ctcLink ID, you also have the same login access to all other Washington community and technical colleges.

What if I'm a student AND an employee

The "tiles" you will see in your ctcLink access correspond to your roles at SPSCC. Important note: the contact information you enter through the "Personal Details" tile in Employee Self Service will override the contact information you enter through the "Profile" tile in Student Self Service.

Why is ctcLink important to me?

SPSCC has moved to a new college-wide administrative system called ctcLink. As a student, this changes the way you do many things like register for classes, pay tuition, and more. ctcLink does not impact your classes, Canvas, or Compass.
