There are many ways to get grants (money that you don’t need to pay back) when you come as a returning adult.

The Washington College Grant provides guaranteed college funding to eligible low- and middle-income students; get started by completing the FAFSA or WASFA. Our Workforce Transitions programs each have unique eligibility requirements, and we’re here to help you find funding that you may qualify for.

Prof Tech: Trade Careers

Transfer to a University

Each year, hundreds of SPSCC graduates transfer to a university as a junior with an associate degree, saving thousands toward a bachelor’s degree. Many returning adult students stay close to home after graduation and transfer to the University of Washington-Tacoma, The Evergreen State College, and Saint Martin’s University.
