Your Impact

You are making the sound

Community college is an entry point to higher education. For students, it can be a pathway to a career, an end to the generational cycle of poverty, or the fulfilment of a lifelong dream of a college degree.

Students supported by the SPSCC Foundation have shown to have higher grade point averages, higher persistence rates, and higher graduation rates than their peers. This is why making a gift helps increase Student Success - the access, retention, and completion of students.

Fourteen percent of scholarships go to students in the Healthcare Pathway, which includes future frontline workers in nursing, medical assisting, dental assisting, medical coding & billing, and more.

According to a recent survey, 48% of students at SPSCC rely on some form of financial aid, and many have almost no financial reserves. You can make an impact by donating to a fund that provides the critical resources students need to stay in school, reach their potential, and power the future.

After graduation, SPSCC students become leaders and economic drivers in the local community. SPSCC alumni are estimated to sustain 5,364 jobs and provide $340.5 million in labor income in Thurston County!
