Classes in this pathway give you key skills and real-world experience to graduate and reach your career goals quickly in many areas of Allied Health.

I witnessed a lot of people who needed healthcare but were not able to receive the care that they deserve. Today as a nurse, I'm able to bring that compassionate care to the bedside table to help my patients.

Healthcare Programs

  • Dental Assisting

    Dental assistants play a key role in the dentist’s office, serving as a friendly face dedicated to making a patient feel comfortable, welcome, and safe.

  • Medical Assisting

    Medical assistants play a unique role, combining clinical training with administrative skills to work in the office, exam room, and medical lab.

  • Medical Coding & Billing

    While many medical coders and billers work in hospital and office settings, others work from home as remote coders and independent auditors.

  • Naturopathic Medicine

    Naturopathic medicine programs require a bachelor’s degree plus additional studies in biology, anatomy, and more. However, you can begin your studies at SPSCC.

  • Nursing

    A career in Nursing is as in-demand as it is rewarding, with extensive benefits in job security, flexibility, and portability.

  • Nutrition

    SPSCC is an excellent place to take prerequisite science courses, such as biology and chemistry, before transferring to a university to finish your bachelor’s degree studying nutrition.

  • Physical Therapy

    As a physical therapist, you’ll do research, work with technology, and provide one-on-one human interaction to help treat and bring comfort to those with chronic physical health conditions.

  • Pre-Medicine

    Pre-medical studies is not a major or degree on its own at SPSCC, but is a path toward a 4-year university and medical school where you can become a physician.

  • Pre-Veterinary Medicine

    Pre-Veterinary studies is not a major or degree on its own at SPSCC, but is a path toward a 4-year university and veterinary school where you can become a veterinarian.
