English Proficiency Requirements

English proficiency is not required for conditional admission. International students whose native language is not English are required to demonstrate proficiency before taking college classes.

Students who do not meet an English proficiency requirement will take an English placement test during orientation. Placement into Intensive English classes or college will be determined by the student’s score.

English proficiency for direct admission into college or dual degree high school program can be demonstrated by meeting one of the following:
