Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) associate degrees allow you to complete your first 90 credits at SPSCC and then transfer to a 4-year college or university in Washington as a junior (third year student). DTAs are a convenient and affordable way to pay for your bachelor's degree. Most private universities in Washington and many public universities out-of-state will also accept a DTA degree.

2+2 Transfer Program
Our 2+2 Transfer Program offers students an opportunity to start their four-year bachelor's degree at SPSCC. The transfer program provides courses equivalent to the first two years of a university degree. Students can take two years at SPSCC, then transfer to a university to complete their four-year degree.
By completing your first two years of college at SPSCC, you can:
- Save 50 to 70% per year during your two years at SPSCC;
- Earn an associate degree at SPSCC, which you can add to your resume; and
- Gain experience in college-level coursework, which will help make the transition to a 4-year university easier.
University Pathway Program
Through the University Pathway Program, you will gain the qualifications required to transfer to our partner institutions–or any university of your choice–as third-year college student (junior).
The following universities have offered the University Transfer Pathway option to any international student who is admitted to SPSCC. You will receive the university conditional admission letter or statement at the same time you receive the SPSCC admission letter.
