SPSCC will host its annual Career Day event on May 11, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In its 29th year, the event will unite over 65 local employers with students, alumni, and community members in the gym at the SPSCC Olympia Campus.
Employers from a variety of industries and sectors be present to share career opportunities, recruit employees, and share information about their businesses. The event is hosted by the college’s WSECU Center for Career Services, an integral college service that assists students and graduates with all aspects of career searching, such as resume writing, interviewing techniques, and more.
Career Day begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m. in the college’s gymnasium (building 31, Olympia Campus). The event is free and open to the public and door prizes will be awarded hourly.
All prospective job hunters are encouraged to dress professionally for possible on-the-spot interviews and to bring several copies of their resume.
