SPSCC today announced its newest member of the Board of Trustees, Rozanne Garman. Appointed by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee, Garman began her term on Jan. 29, 2020 and replaces Trustee Leonor R. Fuller, who served on the Board for 17 years.

Trustee Garman shared on Friday morning that, "I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and would like to acknowledge and thank Governor Inslee and President Timothy Stokes for the appointment. I’m honored to be following in Leonor Fuller’s footsteps and will strive to be worthy of the trust and confidence of this appointment."

Garman is the president and CEO of RHD Enterprises, a general contractor firm in Thurston County. She has been in this role since 2005. Garman was named 2017 Washington State Small Business Person of the Year by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Fuller, who was first appointed to the Board in 2002, leaves a significant impact on the college. Her 17 years of service were highlighted at a Jan. 24 event where the college’s art gallery was renamed the “Leonor R. Fuller Gallery.”
