SPSCC Alumni Lea Sorley Mason Health March Employee of Month

For the past 15 years, Lea Sorley, RN, has worked as a registered nurse in the Surgery Department at Mason General Hospital, a job she excels at because she prioritizes teamwork and keeping patients safe. Her can-do attitude and positive demeanor inspires her coworkers each day to come together and care for patients. Mason Health is proud to name Lea Sorley the March Employee of the Month.

Meet SPSCC’s 2020 All-Washington Scholars

SPSCC today announced its two students being recognized as members of the All-Washington Academic Team. The March 24 event hosting students from each of the state’s 34 community and technical colleges was canceled, but SPSCC plans to celebrate SPSCC students Deena Benmouloud and Ashley Diaz in other creative ways. Gov. Jay Inslee proclaimed March 24, 2020, the All-Washington Academic Team Day.
