The Leonor R. Fuller Gallery at SPSCC will welcome the art exhibit CLOSER, from Feb. 15 – March 19, 2021, with the opening reception happening Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. through Zoom.

CLOSER highlights works from three artists from the 2020 Futures Rising exhibition. The works of Sandra Bocas, Travis Johnson, and Rene Westbrook explore color prejudice, hegemony, and the threat of violence on people of color. The artists’ works are a deep dive into the repetition of images across multiple hues, ‘detox drawings’, photographs, collage, and paintings.
