The Clippers move on to the Elite 8 after beating the Big Bend Vikings 78-67 on Thursday.  They will play against Umpqua Community College on Friday, March 10, at Everett Community College (tip-off at 4:00 p.m.).

Clippers Men’s Basketball will play the Big Bend Vikings on day one of the NWAC Championships this Thursday at Everett Community College (tip-off at 2:00 p.m.)  The men finished the regular season 13-1 in the West region (22-5 overall).

Led by Head Coach Aaron Landon, the men secured their sixth tournament appearance in program history—and first as a number one seed.  The Clippers finished the regular season in the NWAC West with a 13-1 record, the best record for a NWAC West Champion since former member Clark College finished undefeated in 2013-2014.

The matchup against East region number four seed Big Bend will determine which team will advance to the Elite 8 on Friday at 4:00 p.m to face the winner of South number two Umpqua vs. North number three Bellevue.  Big Bend finished their season 11-5 in the East region (19-10 overall).
