South Puget Sound Community College the SPSCC Foundation announced today the college has named a library study room in honor of West Olympia Rotary.  The West Olympia Rotary Study Room was revealed during a ceremony on Aug. 21, 2018 at The Center for Student Success at SPSCC’s Olympia Campus.

West Olympia Rotary was one of the first donors to the SPSCC Foundation when it launched in 1982. Since then, the Rotary Club of West Olympia Endowed Scholarship has helped fund the education of 34 Capital High School graduates in professional technical programs.

“West Olympia Rotary literally made it possible to launch the Foundation in 1982,” said Tanya Mote, executive director of the Foundation. “Their generosity and impact on our students and community is an inspiration and an example of the relationships we want to make all over the Puget Sound.”  West Olympia Rotary is also a longtime supporter of The Experience annual fundraising gala.
