At SPSCC: VA hosts economic investment event in Olympia, WA, to support local transitioning service members, Veterans, and families

WHO: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and partners in the Puget Sound area, including: the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and RallyPoint; as well as other federal, state, and local government partners, employers, and Veterans Service Organizations. VA leadership attending include: Ms. Cheryl Rawls, Executive Director, Office of Transition and Economic Development (TED), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA); and Mr. Pritz Navaratnasingam, Director, Seattle Regional Office, VBA.
WHAT: The Economic Investment (EI) Initiative: Puget Sound 2019, is a free, three-day event to help Veterans, transitioning service members, and their families find success during and after military service. The event will offer direct services and benefits information to Veterans, while also gathering public and private partners together as they work to alleviate challenges (economic, employment, and health) faced by those who serve or have served in uniform and their loved ones.
This event is free and open to all current and former service members and military family members. Registration is encouraged:
