Trio of March concerts highlight SPSCC music programs

*Concert band, jazz band, choir and orchestra all featured in upcoming performances.

The South Puget Sound Community College Music Program is offering a trio of upcoming concerts at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts this March.

Things kick off on Tuesday, March 15 when the SPSCC Concert Band and SPSCC Jazz Band team up for a 7:30 p.m. performance. Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for seniors, non-SPSCC students and military members with ID; and free to SPSCC students, staff and faculty.

Saturday, March 19 sees the South Puget Sound College Orchestra take the stage at 7:30 p.m. for a performance featuring French and Czechoslovakian miniatures. The performance will also include soloists Emma Richart (French horn) and Anne Botka (cello). Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for seniors, non-SPSCC students and military members with ID; and free to SPSCC students, staff and faculty.

The next night, Sunday, March 20, the South Puget Sound Community College Chorus and the South Puget Sound Community College Chamber Choir join voices for Music of the Night. That concert also begins at 7:30 p.m. and is $10 for general admission and free to SPSCC students, staff and faculty.
