The college follows the Washington State Civil Service laws and regulations including the Classified Staff Performance and Development Plans (PDP). Upon hire, supervisors shall meet with their classified employees to discuss job duties and responsibilities and set performance expectations. Classified staff will be evaluated after their first six-months of work against the expectations and at least annually thereafter in compliance with the classified bargaining agreement.
The PDP process includes a written performance evaluation and oral discussion, and a copy of the final evaluation will be placed in the employee's personnel file. For additional information please refer to the Classified Bargaining Agreement.
