If an academic program is closed prior to enrolled students completing, the vice president for instruction or her/his designee will create and communicate a teach-out plan to ensure that students currently enrolled in a program are able to complete the program or change their educational goals in pursuit of another program.
If the college is unable to provide a teach-out for remaining students, the college can contract with another educational entity to ensure student program completion. A written agreement is required if the teach-out is provided by another institution or entity.
To provide the opportunity for the student to complete a program of study if the college ceases to operate a degree program before all students have completed their program of study.
Students enrolled in a program which has been identified for closure prior to the successful completion of all students.
