Policy: 

South Puget Sound Community College adheres to all local, state and federal regulations in its handling of hazardous materials and waste.  Beyond the regulations required by local, state and federal authorities, South Puget Sound Community College may adopt additional requirements for handling hazardous materials and waste.

The Facilities Department has responsibility for hazardous waste disposal and maintains an on-line program for Material Safety Data Sheets.  This information is available to all employees, students, visitors and first responders.

Purpose: 

This policy governs South Puget Sound Community College's handling of hazardous materials and waste.
