Online and Hybrid course- quality review

Procedure: 

All full and part time instructors teaching fully online courses must pass these standards by June 30, 2018.

  1. Conduct self-assessment using quality review tool
  2. When instructor is confident of meeting criteria, they shall seek review from their dean
  3. Upon dean approval that faculty meets or exceeds standards, instructor notifies executive assistant of instruction
  4. Executive assistant maintains log of all instructors that have been approved

Our e-Learning staff can assist you one-on-one or through group trainings to strengthen your online learning experience for students.   

Faculty members who have obtained Quality Matters certification and can show documentation of the certification have automatically met the standards set forth in this document. 

 

Purpose: 

The primary objective of this review is to improve the quality of online and hybrid courses at SPSCC.  Quality Matters Certification will meet the minimum requirements of this document.
