Steps for Returning Students

  1. 1 Re-apply to SPSCC.
    Apply for admission. You need to re-apply if you have been gone for more than two consecutive quarters.
  2. 2 Activate Your Student Accounts.
    Activate Your Student Accounts. When your application has been processed, you’ll receive an acceptance email with your ctcLink ID. Use your ctcLink ID to activate your two student accounts: your ctcLink account and your ClipperID. 
  3. 3 Complete Pathway Selection Survey and NSAR.
    Complete both the Pathway Selection Survey (PaSS) and New Student Advising & Registration (NSAR) in order to register for classes. After you have activated your student accounts, you will receive an email with a link to complete this step.

Advising Appointments

If you have additional questions after completing both the PaSS and NSAR, or are returning to SPSCC and would like to discuss degree or certificate requirements with your Educational & Career Planner, log in to Compass (login with ClipperID required) to send a message or make an appointment with an Educational & Career Planner or Financial Advisor.
