As a former senator, student ambassador, and alumna at SPSCC. This college campus has become a second home to me. I was just a timid young adult fresh out of highschool when I began to serve as a student ambassador. A foreigner and newby to the ways of cummunity college when I became the Senator of Diversity & Equity Affairs. You remember- the days where you always carried a map around campus, attended school events by "chance", and tried to avoid social situations with staff & students as much as possible? Yeah - those were good days... But they ended the moment I became a student employee. And those days were even better. Because it wasn't until then that I finally began to understand what I was getting myself into.

I had always assumed that I'd attend SPS to transfer to a 4 year college. Little did I know, I'd spend my 4 years of college at SPSCC. But there's no other way I'd go about it. Because now I am a mighty glad Clipper, who has the oppurtunity to continue making this college a place we can both be proud of.
