Cultural Studies Programs

  • Anthropology

    As a student of Anthropology at SPSCC, you’ll focus on human biological and cultural origins, modern biological variation, past and present cultural variation, and the relationship between language and culture.

  • History

    In history classes you’ll learn more about the why, where, and how of cultures and societies around the world. At SPSCC you’ll also enjoy small lectures and discussions with faculty who are passionate about teaching.

  • Humanities

    As a student in Humanities, you’ll explore crucial questions about what it is to be human: the languages we speak, the art we create, the ways we think and act, or the way we record and understand our history.

  • International / Intercultral Studies

    International / Intercultural Studies courses at SPSCC allow you to learn more about six major global regions: Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and East, South and Southeast Asia.

  • Languages

    As a language student, you’ll develop a rich understanding of different cultures and come to appreciate the sheer diversity of human experience in the process.
