Running Start
With more in-person classes and flexibility, it’s the perfect time to become a Running Start student!
Through Running Start, high school juniors and seniors can attend SPSCC tuition-free and earn college credits—or even an AA degree—at the same time as their high school diploma. Each year, hundreds of Running Start grads transfer to a 4-year university in Washington.
Advantages:
- Save $8,000 or more toward your bachelor’s degree.
- Fee Waivers and Book Loans are available to qualifying students.
- Students enjoy independence and meeting people they wouldn’t meet at the high school.
- Students can join clubs, student leadership, or get a job on-campus and make extra money.
- Find classes you won’t find at high school, taught by passionate professors.
