I oversee the high school programs at South Puget Sound Community College including the Running Start program and College in the High School registration.  I also oversee the Assessment, Outreach and Start Here centers which help prospective students navigate getting started at SPSCC.  I teach one section of CCS 101 (College & Career Success) each quarter.  This course introduces our new & returning students to resources on campus and how to leverage those resources to your advantage as a student here.  We also expolore a variety of student study skills to assist you now and throughout your academic experience and focus on career exploration to make sure you know how to get the most out of your time at SPSCC.

I have been with South Puget Sound Community College for over 13 years.  Prior to my employment at the college, I was a Running Start student here during my senior year of high school.  That experience allowed me to transfer to Western Washington University where I completed my B.A. in Psychology in three years.  I then continued on to Argosy University in Seattle where I completed my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling.  I began at SPSCC as an Office Assistant in the International Students Office.  I moved into the Program Manager position for the Running Start program.  I then transitioned into being the Director for Advising on main campus in Olympia.  After our Lacey campus opened in the fall of 2015, I transitioned over to Lacey to become the Director of Student Services for five years.  I am currently the Director of K12 Partnerships & Recruitment on the Olympia campus.
