Support During Unexpected Challenges

With the support of our generous community, the SPSCC Foundation offers emergency grants that help students stay enrolled when unexpected challenges threaten to disrupt their education. Whether it’s car repairs, rent, or utility bills, your support helps students overcome financial hurdles and keep moving toward their goals.

Here are the grants that we support:
  • Emergency Fund – Assists students experiencing immediate financial hardship such as past due rent, power or utility bills, car repairs, medical or childcare expenses.
  • Testing Fund – Helps cover fees for various, required tests for students in need.
  • Textbook Library Loan Fund – Provides access to required  textbooks through the SPSCC Library.
  • Tools & Supplies Fund – Supports students in programs requiring specialized uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
  • Tuition Grants – Offer supplemental tuition assistance to help close funding gaps.

My household has been struggling financially since my husband lost his job. Balancing school, parenting, and financial stress has been difficult. These emergency funds made a difference in helping me stay on track and reduced stress during an already challenging time.
