Tanya MoteTanya Mote, MEd
Executive Director

In her role as Executive Director, Tanya Mote is responsible for the strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and philanthropic initiatives to support the Foundation’s mission of success for all students. Being with the Foundation since 2014, Mote enjoys her position because she believes in the transformative power of community colleges.

 

 

Evan SkytteEvan Skytte, MPA
Director of Development

In his role as Director of Development, Evan Skytte, is responsible for helping create and implement fundraising and community engagement strategies to support our mission of supporting all students. Being with the Foundation for just over two years, Skytte works with a personal mission of believing in the transformational power of education.

 

 

Beth SchluterBeth Schluter
Director of Finance and Scholarships

In her role as Director of Finance and Scholarships, Beth Schluter is responsible for the fiscal operations of the foundation and ensuring that scholarship money gets to students. Being with the Foundation for just over 8 years, Schluter feels honored every day to work at SPSCC with such dedicated groups of people who work hard every day on behalf of students in the South Sound Region!

 

 

Michael ChristensenMichael Christensen
Campaign and Major Gift Officer

In his role as Campaign and Major Gift Officer, Mike Christensen is responsible for assisting donors with their giving, provide organizational support for foundation campaigns, and steward gifts made to the college. As a new hire in early 2020, Christensen came to work for the Foundation because he personally knows the impact an education can have on a person’s life.

 

 

Julie FloydJulie Floyd
Executive Assistant, Assistant for the Executive Director

In her role as Executive Assistant and Assistant for the Executive Director, Julie Floyd is responsible for providing direct support to the Executive Director and coordinating the administrative activities of the office. In addition, she serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external matters pertaining to the SPSCC Foundation. Being with the foundation since October 2019, Floyd enjoys her position because she gets to work in a program where they make a positive outcome for a student’s future.

 

 

Andrew GarciaAndrew Garcia
Development Specialist, Annual Giving & Marketing

In his role as Development Specialist of Annual Giving and Marketing, Andrew Garcia is responsible for the graphic design and marketing materials for the foundation and connecting with annual donors to help them with the yearly process. Joining us in April after his graduation of Saint Martin’s University, Garcia enjoys working in his position because he gets to work a fun and fascinating job while still working on his personal mission of making education accessible to all students who seek it.

 

 

LeeAnn ThompsonLeeAnn Thompson
Development Specialist, Database Manager

In her role as Development Specialist of Database Management, LeeAnn Thompson is responsible for the administration of the database, overseeing donor and gift records, as well as coordinating gift processing. Joining the Foundation for the second time in February 2020, Thompson enjoys working in her position because what she does supports the college, which supports our community, and there is no better feeling than giving back!

 

 

Vy TranVy Tran
Events Coordinator

In her role as Events Coordinator, Vy Tran is responsible for the logistics and details of all events and serves as the point of contact for vendors. Being with the Foundation since August 2019, Tran started at SPSCC as a student and was able to witness firsthand the support of donors. Tran works hard to ensure that all students feel just as supported as she did when she was a student.

 

 

Symone WrightSymone Wright
Fiscal Specialist

In her role as Fiscal Specialist, Symone Wright is responsible for providing fiscal and donor database support to the foundation in addition to scholarship customer service. Being with the foundation since early 2020, Wright enjoys her position because as a student who once relied on scholarships, it is an opportunity for her to give back to the college and the community.
