What’s Different at SPSCC?

Contribute to the student newspaper. Students produce their own newspaper and online news source, The Sounds. Students work with a journalism advisor in all roles of production – editors, reporters, photographers, and advertising representatives. Offering both paid and volunteer positions, The Sounds is an invaluable opportunity to sink your teeth into real-world writing experience.

Study abroad. Nothing emphasizes communication more than immersing yourself in another language and culture. SPSCC’s Study Abroad program connects you to several scholarship and grant opportunities, allowing you to study abroad at a lower cost than you might find at a four-year institution.
