Doug Mah, Vice Chair
Appointed March 2016 and reappointed in October 2020. Owner, Doug Mah & Associates, LLC. He holds a BA in Sociology/Criminal Justice and MA in Sociology/Demography from Western Washington University. Serves on the boards of the Washington State Employees Credit Union and the Washington Association of College Trustees. Mah is also a member of the Thurston Chamber of Commerce and the Gateway Rotary Club and served for 10 years on the Olympia City Council and was Mayor from January 2008 through December 2011.
Rozanne Garman
Appointed January 2020 and reappointed in October 2021. President and CEO of RHD Enterprises. Serves on the Thurston County Economic Development Council, Executive Committee Member and Board Secretary 2019-present. Other community and professional affiliations: Round Table of Thurston County, Executive Committee Member; Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Washington, Board Member; Washington Center for Women in Business, Advisory Board Member; YWCA of Olympia, 2017 Board Secretary and 2018 Board Vice Chair; and Olympia Ladies Investment Club.
Steven J. Drew
Appointed November 2018. Thurston County Assessor. Former owner, Steven J Drew and Associates. Past work includes support of Pizza Klatch, Olympia Kiwanis, and Olympia Kiwanis Food Bank Garden. Past Member, Recreation and Conservation Funding Board.
Mark Brown
Appointed November 2025. Retired as President of Connections Public Affairs after more than 20 years representing public and private clients at the state and federal level. Formerly served four years as Director of the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries under Governor Lowry and nearly 20 years directing governmental relations for the Washington Federation of State Employees. Served ten years as a local elected official, including seven years as Mayor of Lacey, Washington. Member of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission for 12 years, appointed by Governor Christine Gregoire in 2010 and reappointed by Governor Jay Inslee in 2016.
Other community and professional connections: Executive Board of the Retired Public Employees Chapter 2; Political Action Committee of the Retired Public Employees of Washington; City of Lacey Civil Service Commission; previous service on the State Investment Board, State Commission of Volunteerism, and numerous other boards in Thurston County.
