What's different at SPSCC?
Connect with the community. SPSCC has an active advisory committee that partners with business and technical programs to provide internship experiences for students. Advisory members also often hire our students, or help connect them with other jobs in the community.
Find dedicated resources. The programs at the Center for Business & Innovation, located at our Lacey Campus, provides material, classes, workshops, and other support to help entrepreneurs succeed at their business goals. Take classes to learn how to establish and license a small business, effectively grow an existing one, or attract new customers through social media.
Get a head start with a microloan. If you’re looking for assistance in starting a small business – or expanding an existing one – you may qualify for a microloan through the SPSCC Foundation. In applying for the loan, you will be able to work with advisors from SPSCC’s business faculty or the Center for Business & Innovation to develop a personal statement and business plan.
