Physical Therapy
Students who aspire for a career in physical therapy are often compassionate caregivers and critical thinkers with a high value for ethics. As a physical therapist, you’ll frequently do research, work with technology, and provide one-on-one human interaction to help treat and bring comfort to those with chronic physical health conditions.
SPSCC offers a variety of classes you’ll find useful in building a competitive edge such as the principles of fitness, lifetime wellness, sports medicine, sports psychology, and related science courses.
Most physical therapist education programs require a bachelor’s degree for admission. Students can begin their path to a career in physical therapy – and save a substantial amount on tuition – at SPSCC by earning an Associate in Science – Direct Transfer Agreement before transferring to a 4-year university.
