Oceanography

Oceanographers are earth scientists devoted to studying and preserving the ocean. At SPSCC, you will be a part of small lecture classes and well-equipped labs led by faculty who are excited about their field, teaching, and supporting each student. As a student in our oceanography class, complete with laboratory experience and field labs, you’ll develop an excellent understanding to the basics of the discipline, and be exposed to the many breathtaking ecologies studied by oceanographers every day.
