Intensive English Program

SPSCC has a wide variety of classes designed to improve your English language and study skills and prepare you for the U.S. university classroom. Start at the right level for you. You will take the SPSCC English Assessment to determine your basic English proficiency. TOEFL or IELTS are not required. You will complete this assessment at orientation. Each level is 12 weeks long.

The program offers six levels of language instruction from beginning to advanced. Students typically complete the Intensive English Program in four levels or less and begin taking college classes.
