Via NWAC
The NWAC Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Committee has selected nine student-athletes to join the committee for the 2023-24 school year. This is the first time the NWAC DEI Committee will have student-athlete reps on the committee and will offer unique opportunities for discussion, networking, and supporting the conference at all levels. The selection supports the committee and conference goals of having additional voices be heard and included in conversations and campaigns. The three core values of the DEI Committee are: awareness, empathy, and respect. The student-athletes will be integral to addressing these core values and helping the conference align with the #NWACcares campaign throughout the year.
