The 16th Annual Native American Art Exhibition, Honoring Ancestors and Embracing our Culture in the Modern World curated by Mikaela Shafer, is coming to Leonor R. Fuller Gallery from Nov. 4 to Dec. 13, 2024. The opening reception will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Honoring Ancestors and Embracing our Culture in the Modern World poses a thought-provoking question to both artists and viewers: "How can we lovingly honor our ancestors, heal generational traumas, and preserve culture in the modern world?” The themed exhibition celebrates the art and culture of our Native community members.
More information is available on the college’s Leonor R. Fuller Gallery page.
