Brandie Tobin and Tammy Levario were honored as SPSCC's 2023 Outstanding Students at the Commencement Ceremony on June 17.

Tammy Levario graduated with High Honors and earned an Associate in Arts degree. In 2022, she founded BrenRose House, a home for young people who have experienced foster care or homelessness. Since then, Tammy has raised over $14,000 to support the nonprofit with fundraising efforts, help from friends, and connections to a network of people who share her passion. Tammy looks forward to continuing her education in Social Services & Education and one day creating a therapeutic farm for young people with trauma where they can be nurtured, nourished, and built back up.

Brandie Tobin graduated with Highest Honors and earned an Associate in Arts degree. She has enjoyed being a student-athlete, especially getting to know her teammates and representing the college with pride. During her time at SPSCC, Brandie was dedicated to building community and making connections through the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Center, getting involved with campus events, and learning about the different backgrounds of her fellow students. She plans on attending Pacific Lutheran University to pursue a degree in psychology and continue her basketball career.
