South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) today announced that Trustee Steven J. Drew was reappointed to its Board of Trustees by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee beginning Oct. 26, 2023, for a term ending Sept. 30, 2028.
Trustee Drew has served on the Board since his appointment in Nov. 2018 and currently serves as Vice Chair.
“I am honored by Governor Inslee's reappointment of me as a Trustee for this great institution,” said Trustee Drew. “SPSCC plays a vital role in our region. We deliver affordable and equal opportunities for every potential students’ advancement. For so many, SPSCC is where the region’s welcoming and supportive community exists. I look forward to serving another five years as a Trustee.”
Drew currently serves as the Thurston County Assessor. He is the former owner of Steven J. Drew and Associates and was a member of the Recreation and Conservation Funding Board. His past work includes supporting Pizza Klatch, Olympia Kiwanis, and the Olympia Kiwanis Food Bank Garden.
