English as a Second Language

Is English not your first language? Do you want to improve your English language skills? Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program has 6 levels of classes to help non-native speakers of English improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Classes meet in the morning, afternoon, and evening on the Olympia Campus and Lacey Campus.

Non-eligibility: Students in the U.S. on a student or tourist visa are not eligible for the college’s ESL classes. People in the U.S. as "nannies" or "au pairs" on a study exchange (J-1) visa are required to participate in college-level academic classes. Please contact International Student Services about the Intensive English Program.
