China Faith Star’s artwork and performance has been exhibited in over 100 solo exhibitions and group exhibitions across the USofA and internationally. She is dedicated to bringing beauty and inspiration to the world through her her own series work as an artist which is broad beyond medium limits but threaded together with a focus on evolutionary consciousness and experiential joy. She is the founder and lead curator of CaTMA (Contemporary and Transmodern Arts) Gallery, curator/gallery coordinator at Washington Center for the Performing Arts, and awarded the 2024-2025 Emerging Curator Exhibition at Leonor Fuller Gallery at SPSCC for her Curated Exhibition 21st Century PoP. China works and resides in Olympia, WA.
This series is about exploring color and mark making in its most simplistic form. applying the peinture with couteau à mastic, to explore and document the meditative memory and peaceful feeling of sitting in nature, specifically by bodies of water.
