My main desire is exploring the “what ifs” while creating. Having fun with lines, shapes, texture, found objects and color. In creating acrylic paints and monotypes I use many different tools and printmaking techniques. I rarely have a set image in mind when I begin working.
I studied artist Wassily Kandinsky while earning my masters in Fine Arts. His colorful shapes, lines and textures intrigued me to try presenting them in my paintings and printmaking work.
