Sam Ken is an Olympia-based artist. He possesses a B.A. in Graphic Communication. A self-taught oil painter, his work encompasses diverse subject matter, possesses a style of loose realism, and focuses on light, shape, and value. More recently, his works have been shown in art galleries in Snoqualmie, Everett, Seattle, Mercer Island, Olympia, and Seattle. He is also a Marine Corps veteran and Air Force spouse.
