Statement
My paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of God’s creation. I use watercolor to express the peace, wonder, and spiritual connection I find in nature. Art is more than a hobby for me—it is a way to reflect my faith and gratitude through color and light.
Bio
My name is Myong Ae Lee. I immigrated from South Korea to the United States, where I have built a life centered around faith, community, and creativity. I currently work as a receptionist at MediArt Family Clinic and have joyfully served as a Sunday school teacher at Seattle Onnuri Church for over 25 years. For the past 15 years, I have been painting watercolor as part of the group Harmony of Color and the Korean Art Association of Washington (KAAW). Through these communities, I have participated in numerous art exhibitions and shows, sharing my work with a wide audience and growing as an artist.
