South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) is excited to offer the Residential Construction Academy to meet the growing demand for skilled workers in our community. This program is your gateway to a rewarding career in the in-demand construction industry.

Program Highlights

  • Home Builders Institute’s industry-certified curriculum
  • Hands-on learning with a blend of lectures and practical skills development
  • Program lasts about 13 weeks

Scholarships Available
There are scholarships that cover program fees available for those looking to immediately enter the workforce. If you are not planning to enter the workforce, please contact us for the cost of the program.

Job Requirements

To be eligible for hire in this industry, participants must have the following:

  • A valid Washington State Driver's license and reliable transportation 
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
  • Willingness to climb ladders and work at heights
