On March 6, 2024, the SPSCC Office of Financial Aid will be collaborating with key partners across campus to offer a workshop for students and their contributors to come and work through the new 2024-2025 FAFSA application that launches on December 31, 2023.

All sessions will be held in the SUB (Building 27) common area at SPSCC's Olympia Campus.

Who should attend?

Students who will be attending a college/university starting summer 2024 through spring 2025 and anyone who would be a contributor on their 2024-2025 FAFSA application. Not sure who a contributor is? Watch this video for more information. Please RSVP for ALL individuals attending the session. Snacks provided. Childcare will not be available.

What do I need to do BEFORE I come to the workshop?

Students and their contributors must create their FSA ID at least three days before this event to access the new FAFSA. All contributors will need their own FSA ID (this includes the student). Watch this video for more information about how to create your FSA ID.

**If you applied for the 2023-2024 FAFSA, you already have an FSA ID and do not need to create a new one! Just make sure you know your FSA ID username and password. Can’t log in? Watch this video on how to troubleshoot your FSA ID account.**

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

  • Please bring your own laptop or tablet if you have one available. We will only have a few laptops available for use.
  • Watch the FAFSA document prep video to learn what additional documents and information you need.

More information about the new 2024-2025 FAFSA is available from the US Department of Education.
