Current Projects

Soccer Field

• The Master Plan work is complete, and we are moving full speed ahead with a new SPSCC Soccer Field.
• McGranahan is our Design Firm for the project
• We have submitted four permits through the City of Olympia.
• Design is working on bid documents now and hope to be out to bid mid-November.

Building 34

• We are working to finish tenant improvements for the classrooms on the first and second floors.
• Updates will be out as soon as we get more information.

Building 35

• Project includes the replacement lab exhaust fan motor, controls upgrade, and retro-commissioning.
• The retro-commissioning will continue to the end of September.
• We identified two issues that we are adding to the project to get fixed:
  • Changing out of the control cards and repair jam alarms.
  • Rebuild two boilers

Energy Efficient Lighting Project

• We have received a grant to cover the cost of replacing non-LED lights in building 21, 22, 25, 34, 35, and throughout the campus pathways.
• Building 21 is complete
• Building 22 has three areas to complete
• Building 25 is complete
• Building 34 has one area complete
• Building 35 is near complete
• Site Lighting is complete

Building 22 Roof Leak

• Working with the original installer to get the leaks in the building fixed.

Angela Bowen Center Roof Leak

• Working with the original installer to get the leaks fixed.
• They came and cleaned the roof, and applied a fix to two areas that seemed to work.
• Still have one leak in the stairwell.

Building 23 MDF/IDF Cooling

• The current system has not been operational for some time.
• Will be replacing with a new Mitsubishi system.
• Waiting on equipment. Will begin work in December.
