A Tremendous New Endowment

April 2025, SPSCC was named the Aspen Prize “Finalist with Distinction” and number two in the nation. With the designation came a $100,000 cash prize. SPSCC decided the prize money should be used to create a new endowment to expand student emergency grants.

The SPSCC Foundation Board then agreed to match the prize money with earnings from a Title III grant, raising the starting point of the new endowment to $200,000. That’s where you come in. Help us match the $100,000 prize money again so we can support more students than ever!

Students' Futures. Your Legacy.

Students do their best when they don’t need to worry about basic needs. Emergency grants help students cover unexpected life expenses so they can stay on track, complete their credential, and reach their career goals.

A $300,000 endowment, once mature, will allow us provide around 50 more students with emergency grants each year.

Your one-time gift to the Aspen Legacy Endowment ensures more students can overcome life’s unexpected hurdles and keep moving toward their dreams.
