    - Any bias‑motivated incident in which someone is targeted based on characteristics such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, veteran status, or disability
    - Harassment, verbal slurs, or derogatory comments that are motivated by bias
    - Graffiti, symbols, or written messages that target individuals or groups
    - Incidents that may constitute hate crimes, including threats, intimidation, or property damage motivated by bias
    - Any behavior that contributes to a hostile or unwelcoming environment
    - Early signs of bias‑related behavior so the Behavioral Intervention Team can intervene, raise awareness, and support those affected
