The purpose of Creative Writing Club is to create a safe, inclusive space for students to write together and share their creative work, to plan on-campus creative-writing related events, such as readings from local authors and open mic nights, and to collaborate with staff and faculty on creative writing workshops and other activities.
The purpose of the Fermentation Club is to encourage and support students in the their learning and development in the craft industries This is to include beverages and fermented foods

The purpose of the Gaming Club is to foster a positive space for gaming at SPSCC
The purpose of the Latin Heritage Club is to celebrate and embrace latino heritage, tradition, and culture
The purpose of the Leaders in Action club, found by the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society, is to foster growth in professional development, community service, and scholarly engagement. While rooted in the values and opportunities provided to PTK members, this club is open to all students, offering a pathway for everyone to benefit from enriching experiences in leadership, academic growth, and community involvement. By encouraging collaboration and active participation, the club unites the college community and creates development opportunities for all students
The purpose of the Mad Hatters Cybersecurity Club shall be to provide a forum for students to learn about, discuss, and develop their skills in the field of cybersecurity. The club will engage in activities that foster the understanding of current trends, challenges, and best practices in cybersecurity. The club will also provide opportunities for students to collaborate on projects, participate in events, and attend workshops and guest speaker presentations related to cybersecurity. Through these activities, The Mad Hatters club will strive to promote the advancement of knowledge and skills in cybersecurity among its member, as well as to foster a sense of community and collaboration among students with similar interests. The club will also promote awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and its impacts on society and encourage its members to consider careers in the field
The purpose of the Philosophy Club is to create an open, student-led community for exploring philosophical questions through discussion, shared readings, film screenings, panel conversations, and opportunities to learn about continuing studies in philosophy
The purpose of the Poet Society is to provide a space for all students to have a voice, to provide a way of expression, to dedicate time apart from writing club and focus on events like poetry readings, open mics, and displayed art that celebrates self expression
The purpose of the Rainbow Spectrum Alliance is to offer a space for LGBTQ+ people and allies to gain resources and support each other
The purpose of the Tomodachi Club is to create a welcoming community for SPSCC students to learn about and enjoy Japanese culture through fun activities, cultural events, and educational opportunities. The club promotes appreciation of Japanese traditions, language, and modern life while building friendship among members
The purpose of the Veteran Club is to build community, connection, and advocacy among veterans, service members, and military-affiliated students. The club provides a supportive environment that promotes academic success, personal growth, and civic engagement through peer support, leadership development, and collaborative events. Our mission is to honor service through scholarship, strengthen camaraderie, and foster a sense of belonging within the campus and local community
Represent and serve your peers as a member of Student Leadership. The Student Senate (ASB) works with clubs and organizations to bring events to campus, manages funding, and acts as student government. The Campus Activity Board (CAB) plans and hosts a variety of events, lectures, and programs throughout the year for the community to enjoy.
Share your unique perspective and creativity through Student Publications. The Sounds is an independently organized news service run by students that accepts submissions from students, staff, faculty, and the community. The Social Media Team connects with the community through regular posts and videos highlighting the student experience on SPSCC’s social media accounts.
