Science, Engineering & Math Programs

  • Astronomy

    Astronomy courses will give you an in-depth knowledge of the night sky and the amazing events that lead to its formation.

  • Biology

    Look at issues related to animals, plants, or humans – including ecology, biological diversity, cellular structure and function, pathogens and disease processes, and human physiology.

  • Botany

    In your botanical research you’ll learn about the key roles plants play in the ecosystem, conservation efforts, public health, and environmental protection.

  • Chemistry

    Learn about the complex chemical processes and compounds that make up the building blocks of all life. Explore a vast scientific field that involves problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and hands-on laboratory skills.

  • Earth Science

    Explore some of the most pressing issues of our time, including climate change, natural catastrophes, and environmental problems such as the loss of biodiversity and deforestation.

  • Engineering

    As a student of engineering, you might investigate issues in a variety of fields including aerospace, computers, construction, or biochemistry.

  • Environmental Science

    Environmental Science focuses on the scientific relationship between humans and the natural world.

  • Geology

    By studying Geology, you’ll gain a wealth of knowledge about some of the most critical issues of our generation: natural disasters, soil conservation, climate change, water supply, and more.

  • Math

    Math provides the framework for hundreds of professions in a variety of industries – CEOs, lab technicians, retail store owners, and construction supervisors all rely on mathematics every day.

  • Oceanography

    At SPSCC, you will be a part of small lecture classes and well-equipped labs led by faculty who are excited about their field, teaching, and supporting each student.

  • Physics

    By studying Physics at SPSCC, you will learn more about the way the world works through interactive lectures, quality lab exercises, and in-class demonstrations.
