New Student Advising & Registration

Steps to Enroll » Step 5: Get Registered

New Student Advising & Registration

Before you can register for classes, you are required to complete the online Pathway Selection Survey (PaSS) and New Student Advising & Registration (NSAR) session.

In your NSAR, you’ll learn about campus resources, your Support Network, and how to get registered for classes. You’ll also take a 6-question career assessment, which will help you select your degree or certificate and pick a Pathway (Area of Study) for the PaSS.

These steps are currently open online only.

The PaSS and NSAR are for students who are new to SPSCC or returning after more than two quarters away.

Before completing these steps, make sure you have applied to SPSCC and completed steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the Steps to Enroll.
